Inventory is down (17% compared to last year) and pending sales (133) outnumbered new listings (122), which means the market continues to be strong. Seasonally, numbers are lower than what we see in the height of the summer, but they are strong nevertheless. In Bozeman, the average price per square foot for October was $221. The number of closed sales through October were up 5% over last year, but still lagged slightly behind 2016. The average sales price in Bozeman was $512,000 for the month. All-in-all, our market remains healthy. It will be interesting to see how it continues into the new year!
